Kimberly Kruzel
President & CEO

Ms. Kruzel has over 30 years of experience in the Department of Defense financial management and leadership experience. After graduating from California State University, Fullerton, Ms. Kruzel was accepted in the Navy’s Financial Management Training Program.

After graduating from the program, Ms. Kruzel took on significant roles in her command to include Budget Officer, Deputy Comptroller, and Comptroller. During her tenure with the Navy, Ms. Kruzel received her Executive M.B.A. from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey along with several Leadership Certificates, including one from the Mendoza School of Business at Notre Dame. Ms. Kruzel’s focus on her care for her people, and strong processes helped her define the entire financial competency at her command, for which she was awarded the Department of Defense’s Meritorious Comptroller of the Year in 2017.

In 2022 Ms. Kruzel came out of retirement to start consulting to state agencies where her analytics, processes acumen, and her leadership expertise has helped her clients identify and execute their mission goals while growing their organizations smartly.
